A witty, time-travelling homage to the nation’s quiet obsession with Burger King’s Chicken Royale—the burger that outshone the Whopper without even trying. Directed by The Sacred Egg, the film journeys through six decades of vintage Whopper ads, each lovingly recreated, only for the hero to inevitably order a Chicken Royale. With nostalgic craft, humour, and stylish visual transitions, the campaign flips the brand’s legacy tagline on its head—The Home of the Whopper becomes the home of its most beloved underdog. The multi-channel campaign extends to OOH, press, and digital, culminating in the UK’s first Chicken Royale Day, offering fans their favourite burger for £1.
